General Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service

  1. This 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service is provided by CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”). By downloading, installing, subscribing to and/or accessing the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service, you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by the “Club Sim General Terms and Conditions” (please see: www.clubsim.com.hk) and these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Fees payable in respect of this 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service are subject to change periodically, and you will be charged the fee prevailing at the time of subscribing.
  3. 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service includes local data usage, unlimited local voice calling and value-added services such as call forwarding, call hold, conference calling, caller ID, call waiting and SMS service.
  4. The local mobile voice & data entitlement provided by your 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service is for use in Hong Kong only. The speed of local data is capped at 42Mbps (Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for details as there are different packages). When mobile data used in a particular month reaches the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service’s data entitlement, you can continue to use the service, but your network specification will be lowered to 128kbps. Actual speed you experience will be considerably less than the network specifications and may be affected by Internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, locations, device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors.
  5. If 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service and Data Pack co-exist, 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service’s entitlement will start to be consumed once the Data Pack’s entitlement runs out.
  6. The 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service’s validation period is one month from the date of subscription. Any unused voice and data entitlement will be forfeited when the validation period ends.
  7. If the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service’s auto-renewal function is activated, the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service will be automatically renewed on a monthly basis, following expiry of the validation period and until you terminate the auto-renewal function. The monthly charge payable will be automatically paid by your designated credit card.
  8. The 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service includes a monthly entitlement of HK$3 for local SMS service. The SMS sent within Hong Kong to customers of 1O1O, csl, Club Sim and SUN Mobile is regarded as intra-network SMS. The SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of other Hong Kong networks is regarded as inter-network SMS. Each intra-network SMS is charged at HK$0.3. Each inter-network SMS is charged at HK$0.6. Each SMS is limited to 160 English or 70 non-English characters including spaces and punctuation. If an SMS contains both English and non-English characters, the SMS is limited to 70 characters. If your SMS exceeds this limitation, it will be transmitted in multiple SMS and each will be charged. If the monthly entitlement of HK$3 is used up, the service of sending local SMS will be suspended until the next 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service starts. Any unused entitlement cannot be carried forward to the next billing month and will be forfeited at the end of the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service.
  9. You shall be bound by such additional terms and conditions promulgated by us in relation to 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service. We may amend any provisions of these “4.5G no contract period local data and voice service Terms and Conditions” and the “Club Sim General Terms and Conditions” at any time by publishing an updated version on any Club Sim or its affiliates’ websites or mobile app. By continuing to use the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service, you will be deemed to accept the updated “4.5G no contract period local data and voice service Terms and Conditions” and/or the “Club Sim General Terms and Conditions”, and be bound by them. We reserve the right to make the final and binding decision in case of any dispute in connection to 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service.

Terms & Conditions for DIY Mobile Number Portability service

  1. The mobile number portability offer of 5GB local data pack (valid for 90 days) will be effective on the port-in date automatically. 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service’s entitlement will start to be consumed once the Data Pack’s entitlement runs out.
  2. For all Club Sim which contains a 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service, the number porting ONLY can be performed via the Club Sim app after the first 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service period expires.
  3. Each Club Sim mobile number can ONLY have one active 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service.

 

7- Eleven Club Sim 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service Complimentary 2 days data roaming day pass (the “Offer”) Terms and Conditions

  1. This Offer is valid from 14 September 2022 to 14 Febuary 2023, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. To enjoy the Offer, eligible customers must purchase a 7- Eleven Club Sim 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service (ie HK$58) via Hong Kong 7-Eleven Store (the “Designated Plan(s)”).
  3. Each eligible customer can enjoy this Offer one time only.
  4. Eligible customers will receive a redemption SMS on or before 15 of next calendar month after purchase and active the subscription of the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service. Eligible customers can use the redemption SMS (with redemption code) at Club Sim App to redeem the Offer during the Redemption Period.
  5. The “Redemption Period” of this offer is between 14 September 2022 to 31 March 2023. It shall be invalid after the expiry date and you will not be compensated in any way.
  6. This Offer is applicable to designated destinations including Mainland China, Macau, Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan and Thailand.
  7. This Offer is valid for 90 days from the day of activation of the redemption code at Club Sim App. When the 1 calendar months validity period expires, the entitlement will be forfeited and you will not be compensated in any way. You can check the validity via Club Sim App: “Personal profile” > “My Service Pack”> “Data Roaming Day Pass”.
  8. Your Data roaming pack’s day pass will automatically be activated upon your arrival at the applicable destination and is valid for 24 hours after activation. Charges are calculated per one day per each applicable destination. “One day” in this context means 24 hours from activation of your 24-hour Pass. If you visit 2 applicable destinations within 24 hours, 2 days of charges will be deducted accordingly.
  9. Unless otherwise stated, this Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional or discount offer, and are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash or other products.

  12. In the event of discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms & Conditions, the English version shall prevail. In the event of dispute, decisions made by CSL will be final and binding.

4.5G no contract period local data and voice service Top-up voucher Complimentary 2 days data roaming day pass (the “Offer”) Terms and Conditions

  1. This Offer is valid from 29 June 2022 to 14 Febuary 2023, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. To enjoy the Offer, you must purchase a 7- Eleven Club Sim 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service top-up voucher (ie HK$35/$63/$101) via Hong Kong 7-Eleven Stores (the “Designated voucher (s)”).
  3. Each eligible customer can enjoy this Offer more than one time.
  4. Eligible customers will receive a redemption SMS on or before 15 October 2022 after successfully redeemed the top-up voucher via Club Sim App and active the subscription of the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service. Eligible customers can use the redemption SMS (with redemption code) at Club Sim App to redeem the Offer during the Redemption Period. 
  5. The “Redemption Period” is between 15 August 2022 to 31 March 2023. It shall be invalid after the expiry date and you will not be compensated in any way.

Terms & Conditions for 2-day free Data Roaming Pack (this “Offer”):

  1. By signing up for a Designated Plan, you can enjoy a 2-day free Data Roaming Pack.
  2. This Offer is available from 1 Jan, 2023 to 14 Feb, 2023 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
  3. This Offer is applicable to New Customers who subscribe to a designated Club Sim 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service via Club Sim’s website or mobile app (the “Designated Plans”).  For the purpose of these terms and conditions, “New Customer(s)” mean customers who have never subscribed to any Club SIM 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service. You are required to register as Club Sim users and purchase a designated 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service (ie HK$58/$88/$128) via Club Sim’s website or app.
  4. Each customer can enjoy this Offer one time only.
  5. You will receive a redemption SMS on the 15th day of the next calendar month after the subscription of the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service. Customer can use the redemption SMS (with redemption code) at Club Sim App to redeem the Offer during the Redemption Period. (Example: Subscribing the 4.5G no contract period local data and voice service between 3 to 31 May 2022, the SMS will be usually be sent to customer before 15 Jun 2022.)
  6. The “Redemption Period” is between 15 Feb, 2023 to Apr 30, 2023. It shall be invalid after the expiry date and you will not be compensated in any way.
  7. This Offer is applicable to designated destinations including Mainland China, Macau, Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan and Thailand.
  8. This Offer is valid for 90 days from the day of activation of the redemption code at Club Sim App. When the 90-day validity period expires, any unused data entitlement will be forfeited and you will not be compensated in any way. You can check the validity via Club Sim App: “Personal profile” > “My Service Pack”>”Data roaming day pass”.
  9. Your Data roaming pack’s day pass will automatically be activated upon your arrival at the applicable destination and is valid for 24 hours after activation. Charges are calculated per one day per each applicable destination. “One day” in this context means 24 hours from activation of your 24-hour Pass.  If you visit 2 applicable destinations within 24 hours, 2 days of charges will be deducted accordingly.
